    Civil society filed petitions for “indirect” initiative, asking the Senate and the House of Representatives to convene in constituent assembly, adopt the People’s Draft (a crowd-sourced constitution), and endorse to the Comelec to set for plebiscite, at the same time as the elections in May 2022. Petitioners include the Center for Preservation of Historical Rights of the Sulu Archipelago, the CoRRECT Movement, the Kapatiran Party (Alliance for the Common Good), Lumad Mindanaw Peoples Federation (LMPF), Tanggulang Demokrasya (Tan Dem), Inc., Ma. Lourdes N. Tiquia, and Wilfrido Buyson-Villarama.
